A man is in stable but critical condition after being involved in a rollover accident just north on Interstate 10 on north FM 565.

The Mont Belvieu Fire Department responded to the one-vehicle accident Sunday around 8 p.m.

Brian Ligon, City of Mont Belvieu spokesman, said the pickup truck left the roadway, rolled and hit a Chevron Philips pipeline station.

“The call initially came in as EMS only, but when MBFD paramedics arrived on scene and joined Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and deputies from the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office it was apparent from the severity of the crash and a power pole being down that additional manpower was needed,” Ligon said.

Ligon said the driver is in stable but critical condition.
