A man was shot and killed during an argument in the parking lot of a Barrett Station business about 9:15 p.m. Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s Office spokesman Thomas Guilliland said two Hispanic men were reportedly arguing in the parking lot of the Barrett Station Grocery Store at 11915 Crosby Lynchburg Road when one shot the other. The suspect fled in a small white vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office has not released the identity of the victim, though information released by the office indicates next of kin has been told of the death.
