An armed robbery and kidnapping Sunday ended when the victim shot and injured one of his assailants at a city park, according to Baytown police.

Baytown Police Department spokesman Lt. Steve Dorris said the trouble started when a 20-year-old man from Poteet, Texas, posted a pair of Jordan shoes for sale on Snapchat.

It seems if we would treat violent criminals the way they treat their victims, maybe they would get the message and slow down if not stop the criminal activity. That in my opinion should be a death penalty case. Violent crimes are unacceptable. Until we start punishing them the way other countries do, we will never get the message across. I believe they chop hands off for stealing in middle eastern countries.
