The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a driver and vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on Highway 90 near Bohemian Hall Road near Crosby shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a man identified as Larry Schatz died in the crash.

A statement from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident was caused with the unknown driver of a silver Chevrolet Silverado was driving on the inside lane of the highway when he drove partially off the roadway.

When he returned to the roadway, he struck the rear of Schatz’s Ford Explorer, which was in the outside lane. This caused Schatz to drive off the roadway, where he struck a tree.

The other driver did not stop.
