The Ross Sterling High School Band is literally marching forward in their quest to perform at the 2020 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

The band has been invited to play during the halftime show and march in the parade at the Sugar Bowl, but needs donations and sponsorships.

Baytown Mayor Brandon Capetillo is sending out an invitation to the Baytown business community as well as citizens to help raise $50,000 to provide the band members with this experience.

Sponsors will have their name printed on a Sugar Bowl T-shirt with the opportunity to be listed on the Sterling Marquee as a sponsor of the week. There will be other benefits as well.

To become a corporate sponsor, contact Jenny Montes at 281-889-1222 or email
