One man was arrested and another is wanted in connection to the Saturday shooting of a 16-year-old Baytown resident.
The 16-year-old was taken to the hospital about 2 p.m. Saturday with multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen and upper left arm. He has since being released from the hospital.
According to the criminal complaint filed with the 180th District Court in Houston, the victim said he went to an apartment complex on Tri City Beach Road where he saw Daylon Gordon and Devon Chambers, who approached him and began to argue over some money he was owed, reportedly for having wrecked his car a few days earlier.
Gordon then provided Chambers with a black revolver, which he then fired multiple times at the victim.
A friend drove the victim to the hospital.
Baytown police spokesman Lt. Steve Dorris said that on Tuesday detectives identified the suspects, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges were filed against 18-year-old Devon Chambers of Liberty and 18-year-old Daylon Gordon of Baytown.
Police arrested Chambers as he left the apartment complex on Tri City Beach Road about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Gordon is still at large, Dorris said.
