A Goose Creek CISD school bus carrying two students collided with a pickup truck Tuesday morning.

The accident happened at 7:55 a.m. at the intersection of Wade Road and Cedar Bayou Lynchburg.

“The bus had two Goose Creek students onboard,” Susan Passmore, Goose Creek CISD spokeswoman. “It was a very low impact, according to (Director of Transportation) Rick Walterscheid. He said after an investigation, the bus took the students to school.”

No injuries were reported.

Passmore said, reportedly, neither driver was given a citation.

A Baytown fire truck and EMS unit responded to the scene, as did Goose Creek CISD police and Harris County Sheriff Office officials.

This marks the first time in the 2019-2020 school year a Goose Creek CISD bus has been involved in an accident.
