Knife struggle

A man and woman were both injured when they struggled over a knife about 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

Baytown police spokesman Sgt. Jason Kelly said the two were in a dating relationship and were at an apartment in the 811 block of Northwood Drive. The woman wanted the man to leave. When he did not, she reportedly grabbed a kitchen knife and went to slash the tires of his vehicle.

He tried to get the knife away from her, and both were injured as they struggled for it.

Shots fired

A 17-year-old man was arrested for discharging a firearm within the city limits when he admitted to firing two shots in the air in the 500 block of Aron Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Officers recovered a Ruger .380.

Threats

Two businesses, one in the 300 block of North Alexander and one in the 4900 block of Garth Road, received threats Thursday.

Burglaries

• Jewelry and bank cards were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 7200 block of Eastpoint Boulevard Thursday morning.

• About $25 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Oak Shadows Street Thursday night.

• Bank cards and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Rollingbrook Drive Thursday night.

• Various items were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Rollingbrook Drive Thursday night.

• Cash and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a fitness center in the 3500 block of Garth Road Friday evening.

Thefts

• A gray 2017 Dodge Ram 150 with Texas license JTH*257 was reported stolen in the 1700 block of Oak Shadows Street Friday morning.

• A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 4400 block of Interstate 10 about 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

• About $320 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 4700 block of Village Lane about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.

• A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2700 block of North Main Street about 1:45 p.m. Thursday.

• A stolen vehicle was recovered on Wellington Park Road about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

• More than $1,200 worth of property was reported stolen from the 4600 block of Quail Hollow Thursday night.

• About $500 was reported stolen in the 5200 block of East Road Thursday night.

• Construction equipment was reported stolen from the 6500 block of Thompson Road about noon Friday.

• A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 300 block of Tri Cities Beach Road about 2 p.m. Friday.
