A bus driver suffered an injured wrist but no students were injured in an accident involving a Goose Creek CISD bus about 6:30 Monday morning on Highway 146 at Pine Meadows.

GCCISD spokeswoman Susan Passmore said the driver reported that she was making a right turn from the right-hand lane on the northbound side of the highway when another driver apparently tried to make a right turn from the shoulder of the highway, clipping the front tire of the bus.

Passmore said the driver reported pain in her wrist and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The nine students on board the bus were heading for IMPACT Early College High School and the Peter Hyland Center.

Another driver was brought to the scene and the students were taken to school, Passmore said.
