Baytown Police Beat – Man arrested after gun discharges

A Baytown man was arrested after his gun discharged while showing his wife it was safe to use.

Police were called to an RV park in the 1100 block of Bob Smith Road at 5:55 p.m. Monday after someone reported hearing a shot fired at a trailer home. Once there, the man told officers that he was showing his wife how to safely handle a pistol when it discharged into the living room floor.
