Santa Claus is coming to Highlands – tonight!

The jolly ole gift giver’s visit is part of the Highlands-Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas Extravaganza.

Things kick off at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park on Main Street in front of the fire station. Santa will light up the tree, signifying the beginning of the celebrations.

The Highlands Rotary Club will serve hot chocolate while the Highlands Horizons will serve cookies. Miss Highlands and Junior Miss Highlands will help Santa Claus as he listens to each child tell him what they want for Christmas.

Photos with Santa will be available, so bring your camera.
