Julie Derryberry Farrell with Tiger Tail

My parents, Clint & Myrdis Derryberry owned the White Star Laundry & Drycleaners in Baytown.   Exxon had an account with them where they would do all linens and laundry for them when their ships came in to dock. Sometimes a ship would come in and need their linens & laundry done the same day. We would hire a laundry crew to come in and do the load and return it to the ship that day. We would load their food & storage onto the ships. We kept a refrigerated truck and a bread truck at the laundry to use for it. My dad Clint and I were invited to tour their Manhattan ship and they gave me a very large tiger tail that I still have.
