This will be the last weekend to see the BLT production of “On Golden Pond.”

1 The 6th Annual Spc. Keith E. Grace Jr. Fundraiser & Remembrance will be celebrated Saturday at O’Neals on the Water. The gates will open at 11 a.m. with auctions, raffles, live music, barbecue sandwiches, horseshoes, washers and a corn hole tournament. There will also be an outdoor concert at 8 p.m. featuring Texas Country Music Hall of Fame member Johnny Lee of Urban Cowboy fame. A $10 donation will go toward a barbecue sandwich and chips. O’Neals is located at 2651 TX-146BUS in Baytown. 

2 Take advantage of your last opportunity to see the play, “On Golden Pond” as performed by the Baytown Little Theater. Curtains will lift at 8 p.m. this evening and will also show at 8 p.m. Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. Sunday show. Tickets may be purchased at baytownlittletheater.org or by calling 281-424-7617.

3 The Baytown Farmers Market will return this weekend at 8 a.m. with a host of vendors lined up to sell their goods. The market will be at Town Square Saturday with over 60 vendors committed to make an appearance. Town Square is located at 213 W. Texas Ave. 

4 Enjoy some of the best four-legged athletes in the area compete this weekend in the Skyhoundz DiscDogathon Open Qualifier in Jenkins Park. The event will feature seasoned competitors from throughout Texas, Oklahoma and other states determining the top dog in Frisbee competitions. Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. will feature five different games that include accuracy, speed and freestyle. There will also be competition Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the extreme distance competition serving as the highlight. The event is free to the public and those attending are invited to bring a chair. 

5 Support the city Saturday night by attending the “Wild About Baytown” gala. The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the clubhouse at Evergreen Park located at 1530 Evergreen Road. There will be a live and silent auction in addition to awards. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased through keepbaytownbeautiful@gmail.com or call 832-262-5131.
