Valentine

Zander Aguilar, Angela Sims (school marm), and Zareck Aguilar decorate Wooster Schoolhouse windows.

The Baytown Historical Preservation Association is celebrating love with handmade Victorian Valentines. The free event will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the barn at the Republic of Texas Plaza Park located at 5117 North Main in Baytown.

All crafts supplies including hearts, doilies, ribbons and lace will be provided by the BHPA. Participants will supply the love.

Members of the Goose Creek Memorial High School National Art Society will be on hand to assist the children.

The 1894 one-room Wooster School and 1910 Brown-McKay Farmhouse will also be open for those who wish to take a peek into the past.
