Vehicle crimes

• A vehicle was burglarized between 2-6 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of West Baker Road, during which $420 in cash was stolen.

• A vehicle was burglarized at 10 a.m. Saturday in the 4700 block of Seabird Street, during which $522 worth of computer equipment was stolen.

• At 5 p.m. Friday, a vehicle was burglarized in the 4600 block of Village Lane, during which $1,400 worth of property was stolen. 

Thefts

• A theft was reported in the 4100 block of Interstate 10 at 1:25 p.m. Friday. Surveying equipment worth $18,000 was stolen from a construction site.

• A theft of $555 worth of fuel happened in the 1700 block of Interstate 10 between 8 p.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday. 

• A theft occurred in the 800 block of Pearl Avenue at 10:15 a.m. Saturday. A metal fireplace screen was stolen.

• A $100 orange self propelled lawn mower was stolen from a yard in the 10000 block of Kaitlyn Lane at 10:54 a.m. Saturday. 

• At 12:11 a.m. Saturday, a theft occurred in the 6500 block of Garth Road and involved $334 worth of merchandise. A Pearland woman was arrested for the crime.

• A man dressed like a woman was arrested in the 1700 block of North Alexander Drive for felony theft after stealing $26 worth of items from a grocery store. The theft occurred at 12:22 p.m. Saturday. 

Vehicles stolen

• A vehicle was stolen from the 2300 block of New Jersey Street at 4:09 p.m. Friday. The vehicle was valued at $12,000.

• A white 2000 Ford F250 was stolen from a motel parking lot in the 5200 block of Interstate 10 between 12:30-7:20 a.m. Saturday. It was valued at $15,000.

Drug arrests

• Police seized 436 grams of marijuana and less than a gram of cocaine during a traffic stop in the area of West Cedar Bayou Lynchburg and Bush roads at 9:32 p.m. Friday. A Baytown man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

• Police confiscated 17.5 grams of amphetamines/methamphetamines during the arrest of two Baytown men at 4:56 p.m. Friday in the 6100 block of Garth Road. The men were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

• A man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police seized 3.5 grams of marijuana at 8:46 p.m. Saturday in the area of Martin Luther King Street and Gentry Drive.

• During a traffic stop at 11:05 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of West Baker Road, police confiscated 10 grams of marijuana and arrested a Baytown man, charging him with possession of a controlled substance.

• A Houston man was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug after he was involved in an accident in the 1300 block of West Miriam Avnue at 10:37 a.m. Sunday. Police confiscated 2 gram of “other” narcotics, 3.5 grams of amphetamines/methamphetamines, and 1.5 grams of depressants.

• A Conroe man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at 4:35 p.m. Sunday in the 4700 block of Bush Road after police found less than a gram of crack cocaine.

• A Baytown man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:47 p.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Garth Road. Police seized 5 grams of marijuana.

• Police confiscated 26 grams of marijuana during an arrest shortly after midnight Monday in the 4000 block of Emmett Hutto Boulevard. Two Baytown men were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Arrests

• A Port Arthur man was arrested for traffic violations in the 4000 block of Interstate 10 and was later found to be in possession of counterfeit currency. The arrest occurred at 8:42 p.m. Sunday and also involved a counterfeit money/altered bill charge.

• A Baytown man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he caused an accident in the 2400 block of Rollingbrook Drive at 5:03 p.. Sunday.

Criminal mischief

• A criminal mischief incident resulted in $500 worth of damage caused to a vehicle at 1:47 a.m. Sunday in the 4700 block of Highway 146.

Assaults

• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Shirley Street between March 30 and 9 a.m. Friday.

• An assault was reported at the corner of Lee Drive and Denby Street at 2:34 p.m. Saturday.

• A man was assaulted at a business in the 4500 block of Interstate 10 at 3:45 p.m. Sunday. There was $25 worth of damage caused to property.

• At 8:35 p.m. Sunday, a man was assaulted in the 3700 block of Garth Road.

Burglaries

• A building was burglarized in the 100 block of East Pearce Avenue at 8:01 p.m. Friday. Entertainment equipment worth $4,500 was stolen.

• A residence was burglarized in the 300 block of Massey Tompkins Road between 6 p.m. Thursday and 12:43 p.m. Sunday.

• A building was burglarized in the 2000 block of Bob Smith Road between Thursday and 9:51 p.m. Sunday and involved $2,700 worth of stolen power tools. 

46 offenses

Between Friday and Saturday mornings, Baytown police officers wrote 46 offense reports and investigated incidents that included six assaults, one auto theft, one burglary, two burglaries of motor vehicles, two driving while intoxicated cases, two forgeries, one robbery, four thefts, 19 other arrests and eight miscellaneous cases.

During that same time period, Baytown police also investigated seven vehicle accidents, three of which reported injuries.

38 offenses

Between Saturday and Sunday mornings, Baytown police officers wrote 38 offense reports and investigated incidents that included two assaults, one auto theft, three burglaries of motor vehicles, one driving while intoxicated, two thefts, 21 other arrests and eight miscellaneous cases.

During that same period, Baytown police also investigated six vehicle accidents, two of which reported injuries.

24 offenses

Between Sunday and Monday mornings, Baytown police officers wrote 24 offense reports and investigated incidents that included three assaults, two burglaries, one burglary of a motor vehicle, two thefts, 16 other arrests ad one miscellaneous case.

During that same time period, Baytown police also investigated two vehicle accidents, one of which reported injuries.
